Our Team

Benjamin Davidson
Lead Designer | Co-Founder
Ben learned the art of restoration in and around Philadelphia, where he worked on historic homes alongside expert craftsmen. His perspective on design is deeply informed by his time working with forms that have lasted for centuries. He has co-written the Object Lesson column for the Magazine ANTIQUES with his wife, Pippa, since 2019, and serves on the Board of Friends of Historic Germantown and the Preservation League of New York State. Ben is also a member of the fourth generation of the J.M. Kaplan Fund. He says, "elegance is the ability to go unnoticed, and yet change everything."

Pippa Biddle
Co-Founder | Associate Designer, Homewares
Pippa runs day-to-day operations for Quittner, while overseeing product development and manufacturing in addition to social media, marketing, and the Journal. She has co-written the Object Lesson column for the Magazine ANTIQUES with her husband, Ben, since 2019. Pippa serves on the Family Committee for the Andalusia Foundation and sits on the Board of Friends of Historic Germantown. She says, "what we do is tell stories, whether through words, objects, or atmospheres."

Aleah Stewart-Souris
Associate Designer, Ceramics
Aleah is a ceramics designer and technician. For nearly a decade, she produced custom tableware and lighting for leading restaurants in New York City. As a member of the Quittner team, Aleah guides projects that utilize ceramic forms. We are also proud to offer a body of work under her own name, Aleah Taylor Ceramics. She says, "the material will tell you what is possible."

Lily Koch

From the SF Bay Area, she cares about functionality, intentionality, accessibility, community, and natural beauty.
