On a rainy Sunday afternoon in the first week of July, we welcomed a crowd for a lively panel on what it means to make a home in the Hudson Valley featuring four spectacular local interior designers, each with their own unique perspective. Jennifer Salvemini, Ana Claudia Schultz, and Hallie Goodman, moderated by Michael Zipp, illuminated their approach to the region, how to handle projects that balloon in scale, and the fallacy of a singular "Hudson Valley Look."
The biggest take-away for us from the event was that there has never been more interest in this region and, crucially, how to incorporate the history of the Hudson Valley into design that grounds a home in place, time, and context. We find this enormously exciting, because it is exactly why we do what we do.
If you weren't able to join, the entire panel was recorded for your enjoyment and is available to watch, for free, thanks to Ana Claudia and her team.
This panel was part of our on-going event series. If you would like to attend a future event, you can find the calendar here. If you would like to suggest an panel, talk, themed happy hour, or other event, email your idea to info@quittnerhome.com.
