When designing the Classic Vase, we wanted to create a simple form that evoked traditional antique salt glaze stoneware bottles, mustard and meat pots, and jars. We also wanted a form that was hand-thrown, with each piece inherently being one-of-a-kind. No two Classic Vases are the same, and we chose to work in a collection of stoneware clays and saturated neutral glazes to create variation within a cohesive palette.

Vases are thrown between projects in the ceramics studio, and will be updated online regularly. What is shown is what is available for immediate shipping. Classic Vases can be special ordered at any height, and any of our glaze finishes, up to 21 inches tall and 18 inches in diameter.
