Antique dromedary saddle with decorative metal work over a wood frame with iron supports. 

This saddle was used as part of Napoleon Bonaparte's Dromedary camel regiment in his military campaign into Egypt. The Regiment des Dromedaires was formed upon the arrival of Napoleon’s military in Egypt January 1798 and lasted until 1801.
