July raced by hot and dry. Then, the last day offered a punctuation mark. July 31st was nearly chilly, a welcome change, and came with a deep soaking rain. This was especially appreciated, as it was our first soaking rain in weeks. Plants that had truly started to contemplate giving up decided to give it one more go, and we are grateful for their efforts.
It was a soothing end to a sprint of a month, one that went by so quickly we missed our own lighting drop.
